Yes. I have another foster dog. I'm crazy I know...don't need anyone to tell me! He is a 6 month old. Not overly psychotic...just enough:) Molly hasn't made up her mind if she wants to be in the family anymore...lol. Well...till I write again,

A First

Today was a great day. Church was great. B was great. Weather was....ok a little hot:) This is a short post just to share the joy of B saying his first prayer!!!! Well I helped but I usually can't get him to say anything. It was so cute. It's the little things like that re-assure me that I must be doing something right. I want him to have a love of the gospel like I do, and not think that church is expected and boring and stupid. He is so cute. I love it how he'll do something that I think is funny so I'll ask him if I can take his picture and make such a big deal about it, that he'll keep doing as long as I give him attention. It made me think about Heavenly Father and what makes him happy. He does the same for us....when we do something pleasing to him he blesses us and gives us encouragement so we continue to do it on our own. And I am thankful for that. :) Anyway...here are the wayyy cute pics of B trying on my shoes....lol:)

And this last one just because he is so handsome:)

Foster dawg

Hello all. Not too much to report here. Mr. Hubby isn't scheduled home until Wednesday :( That's sad. B and I haven't been doing much. Well...I take that back. We've been pretty busy. I have walked the loop around the neighborhood and highway 3 times this week. It is a 3.2 mile walk. Not too bad. I've been having bad leg aches though. That's kinda the pits. We went to the park this week. He played hard for a little over an hour I'd say. We've eaten a lot of ice cream this week. haha. Tastes awful good, but the scaled doesn't like it. Crap the scale doesn't like anything I eat:)

Anyway. I've got a new foster dog. Her name is Cocoa. I was told she was a he and found out otherwise when I brought her to the vet for a rabies shot. She's got june grass in between her toes. June grass is like a thorny ball thing that's farly small. It's the culprit of many a flat tire on my stroller. So anyway. Those are sore and infected so she's limping. She has a hernia the size of a golf ball on her stomach. And she has a TAIL!!!! I took her to the groomers to get a haircut and a bath cause she was stinky! So here's a before and after shot of her. She isn't the prettiest Springer but she is very sweet.

There she is. Her and Molly are getting along great. She is kind of a crackhead in the house though. Takes her a few veryyyy long minutes to settle down. Kind of annoying. Poor girl is walking on three legs:(

Tomorrow I will give a valiant effort to stay in church the whole time. Hopefully my son cooperates. So till the next post...

On my own

Well Hellooooooooooooo! Today marks the first official day of Mr. Hubby traveling. He left for Vegas this morning. Yay him! He won't be back until at least Saturday...kinda sad. So I will have to rough it on my own with a child, cat, dog, and possibly another foster dog. (Update on Brinley, she was officially adopted last Tuesday by a guy that works at Hill Air Force Base.) OK, back to the point. So yea...and Chris leaves for Maine on Wednesday night. So there will only be two Cats in the state of Utah...weird I know. Lol...needless to say I think my father in law and I are going to have some quality bonding time. :)

B and I went to the park today. I'd say we were there for a good hour. Some other kids showed up and he played with them, while I listened to their grandfather talk about Vietnam, his kids, his retirement and other things. I was able to share that experience with a grandmother that was there also. It was a nice time. Hot, but nice. It was 95 here yesterday and I think it's going to reach at least that today. So I figure if I want to walk in the morning it has to be earlier than 8. It was too warm by then. I guess I could just suck it up and go. I'll just have to bring lots of water.

The rest of the week is going to be fairly busy I think. I got the number of a girl that babysits from her mom at church. I'm going to give her a call and have her come over so I can meet her. Play date at the park Thursday afternoon. Dentist appointment Thursday.Enrichment is Thursday night. Job interview on Friday. So I'd say I really need to call that girl....considering NO ONE is around to watch the munchkin:) Ok I'm really rambling....so till the next ramble,

So Fresh and so clean

We had an awesome rainbow Saturday night. We were able to see where it began and ended. I don't have a wide angle lens on my camera so I had to take three shots of it. I'm going to get Chris to help me figure it out on paintshop. So here's a piece of what we saw...

Well I'm sorry to report that female relationships in my house aren't working out. Molly and Brinley are less than cordial to each other and I've had to rip apart 3 dog-fights!!!! Lucky me...talk about getting someone's adrenaline going! So Molly is spending the night at her grandmother's. I bring Brinley to the vet's tomorrow to get spayed and hopefully...her adoptive family can take her. If not I think she may end up in Logan for the time being...because I don't need anymore fights, and B's safety is the number one concern. But doesn't she look spooo cute with her new haircut:)

Other than that. Not too much else going on. I'm in a horse-wanting phase again. :) So I have been scowering ksl.com!! Dreaming mostly because the only way I think I could get one was if I had a money tree. Or a prostitution service...and since I have neither :)lol, I dream. So till the next time,

In Season...

So my family definately recommends seeing Kung Foo Panda. It was very funny. B sat through the whole thing and made sure I was watching it also. We'd be 15 minutes into it and he'd grab my face, "Mommy...wook, it's a bear". It was cute and annoying at the same time. :)

Saturday the old ladies and myself (and the old man!), went to the Weber yard sale. It wasn't all that exciting. They were having a horse show there also. That was cool. Later in the afternoon a Springer volunteer dropped off a foster dog to me. She is very cute. All covered in Freckles. But there was a problem with her name...it was Molly. So I changed it. It's now Brinley. Of course she doens't pay any attention to it or Molly...so what the heck:)

She seems to be a pretty good girl. A little bit of food/toy aggression. So that will need to be worked on. And...this is the kicker...she's in heat! YAY!!! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! I don't know how long she's been in heat, or if she just started. So I bought her a garment diaper...lol. It's special looking.

On the positive side of things, a possible adoptive family came to see her yesterday and they LOVED her. So I'll deal with the mess, get her spayed and then she'll be off to her new forever home. :) Here's a pic of my new foster daughter..

Kung Foo Panda

The fam is going to see this movie tonight. I wanted to see it in IMAX....but no love. The theatre was packed already. So I will suffer and go to the one in Ogden...poor me:) I'm hoping B will enjoy it. Mr. M is home now. Got out a little early today...YAY!

Tomorrow the crazy women and I are going to a giant yard sale at the Weber Fairgrounds. Should be cool. I'm going to see if I can find some old kitchen cabinet hardware. After that...the old men are going golfing. So...till I feel like posting again...

I made it to Monday....

Well I think I have a better outlook on life...for the moment:) Of course I haven't seen Mr. M in 3 days...so that's kinda sitting wrong. But he's on his way home at some point tonight. Yee-haw! So what did we do with ourselves you ask? Saturday Chris and Dad Cat went golfing...big news to everyone! B and I....we went to Lowe's a picked up a gas can for the mower because I needed my own. I don't think I put 2 gallons in the stupid thing and it cost me $7.41! Holy shoot! Craziness. Later in the afternoon Chris, B and I took a gander out to the bird refuge in Brigham City. There were alotta birds...go figure!

So we're cruisin along with the plastic windows zipped out and our windows down enjoying the scenery and we stop to take a picture....like this one:

And all of a sudden...we see mosquitos coming in. And I'm not talking 5-10 mosquitos....I mean SWARMS! Like so bad you can see them as black clouds on the side of the road! They ambushed us! All we could think wa sthat we were going to catch the plague...West Nile...Malaria...gosh! It was so bad. I guess I should just be thankful that they thought sucking on the canvas in Chris' car tasted better than us...take a look

Hence the title of this post:) Lol...so the rest of the trip was with the windows up(the ones we could roll because we dared not stop the car to put the back ones in) and going 25 miles an hour...which doesn't sound fast..but on a one lane, washboarded dirt road...it's plenty fast! But on the way out and clear of mosquitos we caught this picture of a hawk chilling on the power lines.

So that ended our journey. It was amusing to say the least:) So till the next time....
