whirlwind weekend

Here we go...another horde of pictures:)

Me at 27 wks and 6 days...glamorous I know:) I have a Dr appt tomorrow to get an official result of gestational or not...we'll see.

Uncle Marc/Daddy playing keep away with his kids and mine and the neighbors...they had a good time!

B trying to tackle his Dad...I think he's biting him...lol

lol...the neighbor kid and Alex are the same age...and about teh same hyper level so they had to be playfully separated:)

Here are the two clones together:) I really like this picture.

My MIL's gorgeous peony! And I love the quality that my camera captured!

Mr. B's true form! He loves watermelon

AND chocolate cake! lol.
Marc and Stacie came down for a real quick visit this weekend. We had a really good time. The kids loved our backyard and we loved it also:) Now we need to buy a swingset:) They left tonight for the kids to have their last day at school and make a trip up to Stacie's mom's house. Anyway. We are good here. Matt has lost about 10 lbs since being home and he looks really good:) Buut I am tired from all the excitement...so till then,
Meg

paintttttt

So the paint is done! Matt and I primed yesterday and I finished it up today. It took me four hours...but I did it! I LOVE it! SO I will let the pictures do most the talking:)

Before any paint...just an awesome tape job by my hubby:D

I wanted B to feel a part of it so he didn't feel like he was shunned...five minutes later...

He stepped right into the primer! lolololol

in the process picture...

And the end result. I need a wide angle lens so I can capture the whole room. But it looks great so far. So voila! Enjoy:)

mess of pictures:)

Ok here we go! This is a picture of our finally planted rose bushes. Matt and I planted them last night. I put some miracle grow for rose bushes that's got bone meal in it so I am a little nervous that the neighbors dog might get frisky with them. All was well last night though...so maybe we're good.

This picture is of the wood flower that I did at the neighbors house. I say i did it...but I kind of suck at using tools....I ten to hurt myself:) But I used the sander and helped hold the board while my neighbor cut. I know...don't hurt myself:) lol. She put hers on a stick and then in her front garden area. I didn't think it would look right so...I hung mine on some twine and put it on the front door...voila:) It was alotta fun.

And here is the Magnolia tree that finally found a home! lol...Matt likes that it's in the middle of the yard. "something else to mow around". pfffff!

And here we have a child that was supposed to be taking a nap! We put some balmex on his face last night because it gets really dry. Well apparently he needed some today and took it upon himself to apply it. LOL. It's really really hard to reprimand when he looks like an apache warrior. LOLOLOL.
Last but not least...I guess...is a picture of me at 25 weeks and 6 days. Looking a little pokey:)

So here you have it. The picture update. Hope you enjoy! Till then,
Meg

Holy Holly Hocks!

I am home now. My trip to Idaho was good. Stacie and I did some fun crafty things and got some awesome deals at yard sales. :) I jetted home early because my hubby has a new job and is home now!!!!!! Woo-hoo! We are very excited. He starts his new job on Monday for a company doing a project for P&G in Corinne. It's about 25 minutes away...north, so he won't have to fight traffic on his way home. So we have been busy beavers today. We went for a walk, did some errands, went grocery shopping, and now we are home working on the house. He's doing the lawn stuff(yay!) and I'm tidying up the inside because it was driving me crazy this morning. So glad to have him home, but now we (I) have to adjust to the extra "stuff". This could potentially keep me inside cleaning a lot more:) B is thrilled to death to have his Dad home. It will be interesting to see how long it takes him to stop asking when he goes back to Hawaii.

We are hopefully going to paint the baby's room this weekend so we,(I) can set it up...a few hundred times:) Anyway...I took some pictures of the hollyhocks on steroids in the backyard and my peony that is growing!!! So enjoy! Till then,
Meg

p.s. Matt accidentally canceled my facebook so I have to re-do it...that's why I'm not on anyone's friend list.

Preggggoooooo

Hello hello hello! Happy Mother's Day to the Mother's out there! Mine was good! My husband got me a Tiffany bracelet and matching necklace. It was very unexpected and very appreciated. He's the man:) Well at the moment I am in Idaho with the crazies:) It has been fun so far. Stacie and I went to some yard sales and I was able to get a hamper, closet organizer, changing table pad, and a bunch of clothes for the baby. It was pretty exciting. So needless to say my little aveo is going to be more full on the way home than the way up:) Oh well. lol. And here are some new belly pics. I found this iron on transfer and we put it on a t-shirt. And the dress I am wearing was yard sale find for $1.00...brand new with the tag still on it!!! Mind you...if I was by myself I wouldn't have found any of this stuff:) So here...enjoy! Till then,
Meg

alone....

I ...am really alone. My sister in law came down to visit her sister who is also pregnant and then came up to the in-laws for dinner today. She offered to take my son for a few days since I was planning to go up there for a visit anyway. It was hard for me to let him go...not because he would have a problem, but because they are sooo busy with school and their own 4 kids. I feel guilty. And...it's my birthday tomorrow so I won't have B or Matt here with me and that's sad. Lol...I talked to her on the phone and said I was thinking that I should say "thank-you", but I'm not sure I am thankful...:) I mean obviously I am thankful, but it's sooo very weird not having my bff appendage here :/ So I have to figure out what to do with myself for the next few days until I make the journey up north. Sewing is probably up there. I also have a backyard to mow....if it would ever quit raining:) I know it's going to be lonely here. So lonely that I video-clipped the storm front move in...lol. So here for your viewing enjoyment:)

White chocolate trash bags...lol

I should have posted this a few days ago...but... I am now:) My MIL and I have been keeping ourselves fairly crafty this week. We have been working on various projects and it has been a good time. Thursday we were going thru Paula Dean recipes to figure out what to make that was fattening....she was having kind of a rough day and wanted to rebel against her hard work at eating healthy. Well we came across a recipe called "white chocolate trash". It kind of reminded me of puppy chow that she makes. Well we got a giggle out of the name and moved into the sewing room to make the "go green" bags. So we're sewing and getitng in a better mood while making these ridiculously simple yet annoying bags. Lol...we get to talking about our awesome bags and I made the comment that they were our white chocolate trash bags...lol. Well that was the funniest thing either of us heard all day so we had a fairly good laugh over it. We finished our bags. And here's the proof:

And after all was said and done the pattern cost $9.50, fabric was free(thank you G. Rose) and man hours was probably 1 to 1 1/2. Cost of these bags at grocery store $0.99 :) So much for saving money:) But we didn't get the laughs:) So till the next random post,
Meg
