I do have other things to blog about...really. And it will get done, because I am on a mission. But I wanted to share this lovely photo of Mr. Hippo.
He is 9 months already and crawling around the house picking up all the crumbs that got dropped after I vacuumed...go figure. Ahhh he's a cute kid. High maintenance, but cute. Ok, I will leave you with this 'womb-pulling' photo for now:)
I learned with this picture that I love my new 85mm! But besides that, I learned that the picture you are positive is a dud on the lcd will blow your mind when you see it full screen.
cc is welcome:)

aww such a cute picture!
He's adorable!
I love the expression. Such a sweet moment captured! I agree with you about seeing a photo on your camera vs. the computer. It is a very different perspective. I would love to see this photo in color too. Thank you for sharing!
Adorable, his eyes are so big and gorgeous!
What a gorgeous photograph! The 85mm is the next lens I want to get. Part of the reason I never delete in camera is because I just can't tell what is good and what isn't until it is nice and big.
To cute, I love your website design!
womb pulling is correct! Lovely shot!
I love what you learned. I have almost trashed a few photos and thought....no the focus looks good, so I should wait till I load it and BOOM.....I LOVED IT!!
Great catch lights and love the expression of surprise.
This is fabulous! What a gorgeous little munchkin :)
There's a light that shines from within those eyes :))

Look at those catchlights!! Wow!! I'm so glad to hear that you love your 85mm. That is one I have been thinking of purchasing!! I love the new header. Did you change the name as well?? It's great!! Since you asked for critiques, I would bring down the brightness or exposure just a smidge in post processing. Mainly because his nose loses some of it's definition. Great photo though! I can totally see why you are in love with it :O)
what a fun shot . . . kids have such variety of expression. i need to learn to not be so quick to delete. that LCD can be deceiving!
Adorable!!
