The cutting edge...

Well. I'm back. But things just keep happening that I feel I need to share with the WORLD! lol. Hopefully you read my last post about B taking his hair in his own hands...if not...stop now and read the previous post! Well I captured a memento of it today. Here it is...

If you can't see that awesome bald spot...get your eyes checked:) So that was his fun with scissors yesterday. Today...he decided to take out his awesome new scissor cutting ability on the quilt I brought back over to my MIL's to tie. Yes...that's correct...he hacked up my hard work! I'm not really sure how I would describe the emotions I felt all at once. But here is his handy work..

Katrina was too quick on helping me fix so this is the 'after' shot of the zigzag stitch to sew up the diagonal cut through all the layers...

Here we are looking at the mini lateral cuts...where we can assume the accused was practicing before he made the above blow...-sigh-

So, now we have a scarred blanket...and it's only been of use for 3 days. Amazing. And the accused plead "not wanting it because he wants his Dad". Interesting. So..."Dad" if your out there...this is your fault! :P

On another scissor note, I am fostering a dog until this weekend. Keep your sighs and head shakes to yourself please:) But she got a haircut...by a professional. And here she is..

And she likes playing fetch, lieing at my feet, and oh yes...sleeping in my bed! Which I really dont mind. Keeps me warm:) So..maybe we can have a quiet few days and I won't need to post. But I do have a Dr's appt tomorrow so...guess that's out of the question:) So till then,
Meg

Doe Stacie sit and wait for someone to update their blog... Gosh I wanted to be the first:) Well hunny i am sorry your son decided to use his scissors on his new blanket, but you have to look at the bright side, it could have been worse and know there is a story to be told when he gets older. You did a great job making it and even though it has some scars now it is still nice. And yes i know it is all my fault. Have a good appointment tomorrow. Love you.
