Oh the insanity

I most definitely don't have the brain capacity to write out all the details of my super quick trip back east...so I'm sorry. I know how much you are all dying to know ;) Basically it was the worst flying experience I have ever had. On the way out my connecting flight was cancelled so I got to hang out in the Detroit airport for 5 1/2 hours. On the way home my connecting flight was already done boarding when I was taxing in. I had to run from one end of the airport to the other end while carrying a 17 lb baby in a car seat!!!!
Do you know what's uglier than a stretch mark? A bruised stretch mark!
Baby C did great though. I couldn't have asked for a more well behaved child...which is probably why I wasn't more ticked off at the flying mishaps than I could have been. One blessing.

Why go on a three day trip with two days on a plane you ask? Cause my little sister graduated and I am so happy to have been there.

Isn't she pretty:)

Best of all, she got accepted to school here and it looks like she is going to come! She's very nervous so I have to keep coaching her on the 'non-scariness' of it :)

Ok, the kids that I desperately still need a break from are running around crying and whining....so I'm going to go in the other room ;) Till I have more functionality in my brain,
Meg

I am glad you got to go. I hope your brain kicks in soon. It is kind of hard to do math when your brain is on the fritz. Not that you do much of that but you never can tell. :) Glad your home safe and sound.

Congrats to your sister! I hate airports and small children together. It seems that even when your kids are on their best behavior and you're thinking, "Wow, this isn't going to be so bad after all" the airline goes and messes that all up. I also hate to tell you that your brain is not going to start functioning normally until all of your kids leave home, which is just in time for dementia to set in.

LOL LOL LOL.....I think Jenn is correct....You did well Meg. To be honest, there is a lot to be said for kids keeping you young. We are in transition this year. Today is the last day Erica boarded the bus from here for school. Next year is Middle School and an hour earlier so we won't be starting our day with her pleasant prescense each morning. I guess we have stayed young long enough because they have become quite capable of self reliance. That is a good thing. ;-)

Congratulations little sister! Is this the "homeless" one? (...that was your story right? If not, ignore this).
