Happy birthday to my sweet husband. He turned 31 today and we celebrated by hanging out with family and adopted family.

Taco salad was on the menu, followed by cake and cheesecake. I got him a new drill that he seems pretty pleased with.

I'm so fortunate to have found such a wonderful man that makes it his goal to make me happy.

Happy birthday Matt. Here's to lots more birthdays to celebrate together.

A snowy Sunday

4|365

We are currently having a pretty significant snowfall here. We have shoveled a couple of times and it keeps coming. I am rather enjoying it. I honestly wouldn't mind if it just kept snowing.

Henry enjoys playing in the snow. It tuckers him out and then it's a struggle to get him to move. I think some puppy obedience classes would help.

Baaaaaacaaaaaaation!

Oh my goodness. This family is on a road  trip. We flew into Seattle, got a rental car, and hit the open road. It's been pretty great so far. The kids have been awesome. Seriously. I'm surprised how well they have all done. Here's a glimpse into it so far.

This is a "shortcut" we took to save ourselves 40 min. We saw the van in front of us with Washington plates and figured they knew what they were doing. I only suffered a few heart attack moments when our driver got too close to the drop off on my side. Haha

We stopped and saw some friends that moved away from us. Their girl and our Conner are a month apart:)

Mr B had a great time playing football with his cousins. I'm pretty sure he only took this getup off, to sleep.

Turf playground floor is basically the BEST thing EVER! I could put baby P down and not worry about her putting anything in her mouth. This was the day I decided I was moving. Purely for the parks.

The point off of Tubbs hill.

Mudgy the moose. This moose is in a storybook and based on an actual moose here in Coeur de lane.

This is my very special niece that loves taking selfies. Scary selfies. ;)

Driving through Montana. Beautiful state. I'd like to stay longer next time.

Nutella snack cup. Enough said.

First night from a full day of travel. Once they passed out they slept really well.

We saw Mt Rushmore for the first time for all of us:) Matt went as a child but the story is, all he did was vomit on his Dads head. There wasn't any vomiting, although Conner got a scrape on his leg and was very concerned his leg was going to fall off.

The song that has this melody was playing in the car and we decided to stop for bathroom breaks and we saw this sign. It gave us a good chuckle:)

I missed a few state signs but we did make it to SC:) Uncle Matt has snuggled with the youngest baby in the Cat extended family:) We've gone to the lake. The kids have played in the pool.

Conners swim shorts were getting air in them and it was very concerning so he took them off and went nekkid.

Whew! Picture overload:) There's a Fletcher photoshoot tomorrow and a day at the ocean! And [hopefully] I can get some color on the basically translucent legs that I have!

Reading, sun bathing, and more reading

Hmmm...where have I been? Well....I've been trying to soak up some sun that has finally decided to shower us with it's warmth! That and laundry, and reading. My poor kids have come down with a cold and Miss C is taking it a lot worse than her brother. Not a big shocker since she can't communicate her aches and pains...nor blow her own nose:( Last night was less than pleasurable for all involved. So hopefully she will recover quickly.
I took the camera out to capture the beginnings of spring around here.

My brain has temporarily vacated and I have forgotten what this is called. I do know it...just not right this second:) I'm also reading the Chris Stewart series and I just finished book 3 of 6 today. I have been borrowing from my in-laws and they are on book 4...hmmm. I may have to go to the library for book4...because they are a little on the slow side;) Other than that not too much new. We head up top Idaho in a little more than a week for my nephews baptism. It should be a good time. We will also be celebrating his belated birthday, my cute nieces birthday, and maybe mine:) So till then,
Meg

We are home again! Yay! It was a good time up in ID. We hung out...did some shopping, played with the niece and nephews, and played racquetball! It was my very first time playing. I managed to trip over myself and bash my head off the floor within the first 20 minutes. I am talented I know:) I was also able to get a nice bruise form the slide at the Carl's JR play place. Don't ask:P The Idahoans looked good and seemed to be doing alright. I took some pictures while I was there, but not really all that much. Surprising I know. :) BUt here are a few form our stay. I will post mass quantities on facebook...for all interested:) Enjoy! And till tomorrow night's dinner,
Meg

p.s.
-yes they are mostly of Miss B, but what can I say?
she's beautiful:)

another trip to Idaho :)

Well we went Idaho again:) It was another good trip. B and S played good together again. I laughed to myself because it seems like when we go up there I don't see my son all weekend:) It was conference, and I'm sorry to say that I didn't watch it as diligently as I should have. So today during my "doing nothing on the computer" time, I put it on. I will agree with Stacie on Bednar giving a good talk. I find myself being "embarrassed" to say I love you to anyone outside of Matt, B, and C. I need to work on it obviously,....but don't expect miracles people! lol.
Baby C has had an off day today. Taking mini one hour naps. I'm happy she's at least napping, but I wish it was her 2-3 hour ones. hmph. Other than that....I am starting dinner anywhere from 2-4 these days. I find it easier to get it prepared and and schtuff early on. Makes me more productive in what I am actually fixing for dinner, and dessert:) I made a pumpkin bread with crumbly top yesterday. It was very good. I sent the rest of it with Matt to work so I didn't eat it all today:)
But anyway. Baby needs her mommy:) Here's a couple pics from the weekend...enjoy:)

2 BFF's :)

lol...definitely a glimpse into my future eh:)

Happy Fall....sort of:)

Happy Fall everyone! We are officially in the season...but Utah hasn't figured that out yet:) As I type it's about 80 degrees out..phooey! Not too much exciting going on around here. We went up to Idaho this past weekend and visited Marc and Stacie. B and his youngest cousin had an awesome time playing together. They didn't fight like cats and dogs, so it was very nice:) Stacie has pictures from the weekend on her blog.
Miss C turned a month old on Friday! How crazy it is how time flies by. She is changing every day. I think she has bulked up a little bit in the last week. And she is practicing her smiling:) I get them very rarely compared to how hard I try to get one out of her:) But it's all worth it to see her mouth do that weird crooked, gumless, face contortion:)
Our realtor gave us some tickets to a fall farm bonanza thing:) We went a had a pretty good time. B went down this ginormous slide thing a few times. His last round up he turned around at the top and went back down! Matt and I were like...uhh what's he doing? So I walked around and looked and they had it so you had to climb up a big rope net thing...and he was playing on it! Oh he's a dork sometimes:) After that we went out on the tractor ride to get our pumpkins! It was fun and B really enjoyed himself! So here the pics from that and our pumpkins on our steps:) Till next time,
Meg

way too bright out here mom!

whirlwind weekend

Here we go...another horde of pictures:)

Me at 27 wks and 6 days...glamorous I know:) I have a Dr appt tomorrow to get an official result of gestational or not...we'll see.

Uncle Marc/Daddy playing keep away with his kids and mine and the neighbors...they had a good time!

B trying to tackle his Dad...I think he's biting him...lol

lol...the neighbor kid and Alex are the same age...and about teh same hyper level so they had to be playfully separated:)

Here are the two clones together:) I really like this picture.

My MIL's gorgeous peony! And I love the quality that my camera captured!

Mr. B's true form! He loves watermelon

AND chocolate cake! lol.
Marc and Stacie came down for a real quick visit this weekend. We had a really good time. The kids loved our backyard and we loved it also:) Now we need to buy a swingset:) They left tonight for the kids to have their last day at school and make a trip up to Stacie's mom's house. Anyway. We are good here. Matt has lost about 10 lbs since being home and he looks really good:) Buut I am tired from all the excitement...so till then,
Meg

Holy Holly Hocks!

I am home now. My trip to Idaho was good. Stacie and I did some fun crafty things and got some awesome deals at yard sales. :) I jetted home early because my hubby has a new job and is home now!!!!!! Woo-hoo! We are very excited. He starts his new job on Monday for a company doing a project for P&G in Corinne. It's about 25 minutes away...north, so he won't have to fight traffic on his way home. So we have been busy beavers today. We went for a walk, did some errands, went grocery shopping, and now we are home working on the house. He's doing the lawn stuff(yay!) and I'm tidying up the inside because it was driving me crazy this morning. So glad to have him home, but now we (I) have to adjust to the extra "stuff". This could potentially keep me inside cleaning a lot more:) B is thrilled to death to have his Dad home. It will be interesting to see how long it takes him to stop asking when he goes back to Hawaii.

We are hopefully going to paint the baby's room this weekend so we,(I) can set it up...a few hundred times:) Anyway...I took some pictures of the hollyhocks on steroids in the backyard and my peony that is growing!!! So enjoy! Till then,
Meg

p.s. Matt accidentally canceled my facebook so I have to re-do it...that's why I'm not on anyone's friend list.

Preggggoooooo

Hello hello hello! Happy Mother's Day to the Mother's out there! Mine was good! My husband got me a Tiffany bracelet and matching necklace. It was very unexpected and very appreciated. He's the man:) Well at the moment I am in Idaho with the crazies:) It has been fun so far. Stacie and I went to some yard sales and I was able to get a hamper, closet organizer, changing table pad, and a bunch of clothes for the baby. It was pretty exciting. So needless to say my little aveo is going to be more full on the way home than the way up:) Oh well. lol. And here are some new belly pics. I found this iron on transfer and we put it on a t-shirt. And the dress I am wearing was yard sale find for $1.00...brand new with the tag still on it!!! Mind you...if I was by myself I wouldn't have found any of this stuff:) So here...enjoy! Till then,
Meg

alone....

I ...am really alone. My sister in law came down to visit her sister who is also pregnant and then came up to the in-laws for dinner today. She offered to take my son for a few days since I was planning to go up there for a visit anyway. It was hard for me to let him go...not because he would have a problem, but because they are sooo busy with school and their own 4 kids. I feel guilty. And...it's my birthday tomorrow so I won't have B or Matt here with me and that's sad. Lol...I talked to her on the phone and said I was thinking that I should say "thank-you", but I'm not sure I am thankful...:) I mean obviously I am thankful, but it's sooo very weird not having my bff appendage here :/ So I have to figure out what to do with myself for the next few days until I make the journey up north. Sewing is probably up there. I also have a backyard to mow....if it would ever quit raining:) I know it's going to be lonely here. So lonely that I video-clipped the storm front move in...lol. So here for your viewing enjoyment:)

Back Home

Hello my fairy weather friends. I'm here for a quick post as my house is quite full at the moment. I went up to M&S's house this past Monday through Thursday afternoon. It was a fun time. I spent too much money at the bookstore, we went swimming, laughed at the very dramatic life of Nikki, and visited. We went to the park. I got a new kitten. Yes...I have lost my mind. Oh and I brought Miss B home with me. So I've got 2 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. And 2 adults. Kitty is not very happy with life at the moment. She is so cranky. Anyway. Here are some pics from the adventure. Enjoy!
